Long live blue! I would love to have more orange … :)
Based on the Integration of Colours activity that I completed, my strongest colour is authentic blue. The attributes and characteristics that describe me as a person belonging to this colour are especially evident when I am at work or with my family. Orange follows closely thereafter and this…
I wish I could read maps … and I am always bumping into things!
According to the Kolb’s Learning Style Test and my Emotional Intelligence, I am Spatial Visual. I believe this is true because I am very artistic and creative. I enjoy drawing, painting, and reading maps.

that’s wonderful … I am learning yoga for the first time and it’s changing me!
I notice that I get stressed out when my routine changes. Yoga or meditation normally relieves me of this stress.
this is a great pic! Ah yes, procrastination ……….. the thief of time!
Journal #4
One thing that really stresses me out is…homework! I find it extremely stressful when I have multiple homework assignments due at once because I certainly do not consider myself to be the best at multi-tasking. It is definately a challenge for me to complete multiple things at once, but if I really concentrate and put my mind to it then it can be accomplished. One way I like to relieve my stress is going for walks, hanging with friends and especially hanging out with my family. A good strategy for me to keep in mind that will help reduce increasing stress levels is not to procrastinate. This will ensure that I have enough time to complete my homework and assignments before they are due.
this is amazing! Thanks for sharing! What an amazing field to go into .. you will be involved in healing people!
After finishing my three-year Pharmaceutical and Food Science Technology program, I’m planning to apply for a job as a quality control assistance, but later on I will like to work in development and research projects that will involve the creation of new drugs that will create an alternative for people who have diseases that right now do not have cure, but in the future with the work of scientists the medicine will come across with the cure.
You have been through the process … this will make you an AMAZING hygienist!
Keep going, you are heading in the right direction.
The path I have chosen to go in life is through dentistry. I have spent a fair amount of time myself in the dental chair growing up, not to mention the long six years of orthodontic work! I have always felt comfortable being in the chair, which is not the case for most people. I appreciated the dental staff being so kind, thoughtful and having an interest in helping my oral health needs. I see a passion for dentistry and how becoming a part of it will influence my life; being able to help other people like the ones who helped me. It really is a ‘home-run’ for me when a client finally understands the importance of how maintaining good oral hygiene will effect (good and bad) their overall health status. In the past-I graduated the dental assisting level II program and loved it; so I had decided to pursue my passion and continue on with this career choice. Presently-I am working on achieving a dental hygiene diploma here at the college and in the future-I see myself advancing farther into this profession as a restorative dental hygienist, but there are some unmarked stepping stones which I could follow also. That is the plan so far, although there is still lots of time to rethink which path I desire to go after most.
I really like the job that I do know - working with individuals who struggle to learn. It’s so amazing to me that I can be part of their learning journey. It is very satisfying because I love to encourage and support people who need help. Down the road, I would really like to be involved in training or teaching full time - it’s a skill that I am perfecting … that’s where I would like to go. There have been so many turns and twists in my life … I am reminded that I have to be prepared for anything … and so the journey continues.

Relationships stress me out .. when I don’t understand and I feel that I have done my best. It seems that sometimes I get caught up in managing relationships - different personality types, unique quirks, strange behaviours … and when I look in the mirror -I see myself. Getting much better at this .. but being a BLUE does NOT help the situaiton. I remind myself that it’s their journey and they have to walk it out themselves, it comes from a good place, but I get entangled … less, as time goes by!
Wow, that’s amazing! It’s all about development.
I choose this image since I believe people can have more than one type of intelligence. Intelligence can also be defined as a mix of framed experiences, contextual information, and values that we learned and experienced throughout our entire life. This includes past experiences, beliefs, values, how we feel, motivation, relationship with others, and information from our everyday life that help us to build and develop new strengths and make us stronger as a person and in the same way help us to know ourselves and to develop different parts of our intelligence.
